Roll out an integrated HR Digital Information System

The goal of our assignment was to merge various HR reporting and processing systems into an integrated digital platform

OBSTACLES AVOIDED - Hazards

  • Implement new digital systems without prior thought-through review of HR processes
  • Standardize blindly or stick to old practices
  • Technological challenges versus human learning challenges 
  • Resistance to change 
  • Extensive additional workload during the testing & implementation phases endangering daily activities


OPPORTUNITIES TAKEN - Freebies

  • Create digital super users roles and unlock human potential in digital areas
  • Create interactive common communication platforms (HR Portal/Intranet platforms ) to accompany the change

MILESTONES  - Waypoints

  • Define project streams & lead the transition for the modules : Organizational Management, Compensation & Benefits, Expats Management, Learning, Performance Management, Recruitment & Succession Planning

  • Per project stream : describe the flows, review, optimize & simplify/standardize the above-mentioned HR processes prior to system change 

  • Lead testing & implementation phases

  • Design HR analytics & management reporting

  • During the whole journey : communicate and involve all stakeholders about the change (info roadshows, work groups... )


 

In the process, we have seized the opportunity of the project to bring added-value on some side business aspects.
